“When I announced our drawdown in April, I said we would be out by September, and we’re on track to meet that target,” Biden had said. “Our military mission in Afghanistan will conclude on August 31st.”

Clearly the Taliban are on the cusp of declaring victory in Kabul far ahead of that date marker, and certainly very far ahead of the initially conceived September 11 symbolic ‘mission accomplished’ date (without doubt whatever plans were laid for an optimistic sounding 9/11 “we’re out of Afghanistan” or even “mission accomplished” speech will be scrapped).

Here’s the exchange from a bit over a month ago:

REPORTER: Is a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan now inevitable?

THE PRESIDENT:  No, it is not.

REPORTER:   Why?

THE PRESIDENT:  Because you — the Afghan troops have 300,000 well-equipped — as well-equipped as any army in the world — and an air force against something like 75,000 Taliban. It is not inevitable.

  1. LOL. Good for them.
Joe looked kind of low on infant goyim blood stem cell injections in that video. Perhaps he missed his latest serving of cannibalized goyim infant flesh and bood. I’m sure his Shabbat-observing handlers have rectified that situation by now. Can’t have a Shabbos golem running around foggy-brained like that.

  2. I lay much of the blame at the feet of the US DOD and military, who are woefully ignorant of the history of Islam and how Islamic people fight wars.

What you’re seeing here is a textbook Islamic war operation on both sides, where the textbooks are the Qur’an, Hadiths and Sura.

When one studies Islam, one can see that:

    a) we will never have “allies” upon whom we can depend from the Islamic world. I don’t care who or what, when the situation shifts ever so slightly (and imperceptibly to westerners), the Islamic armies suddenly will do nothing, surrender or join the other side.

    b) On the whole, the Islamic world is rife with bone-idle, lazy people. An old joke is that “Inshallah means the same as mañana, but without the sense of urgency.” You don’t have to believe me. You can read about in the Muqaddimah. I recommend everyone read this book, and especially the assessment of the Arabs who are in the area of what is now Saudi Arabia.

    c) Our history of training natives to act as a modern military force has mostly been a failure, time and again. If you want something done correctly, you have to do it yourself. The Romans learned this too, at the expense of their empire.

    • We need real accountability from both the civilian and military leadership as to how we got here. This is unacceptable. We should probably reboot our military and intelligence services over from scratch.

But of course, we won’t have any of it. The same mediocrities will continue mediocritizing without any accountability.

It’s time to pray for both America and Afghanistan.

  3. From the perspective of an outside observer, President Biden appears to have dementia. He can hardly string coherent sentences together, and he seems real frail when he’s walking around.

    • As someone who works with people who have dementia every week (and not the same ones every week), yes, Biden has many of the hallmark signs of dementia. It also appears that he’s being propped up by modern pharma, which has produced some meds to slow the progression of dementia.

However, those drugs have very uneven action, and some days are much better than others – which accounts for Biden’s very uneven schedule in front of cameras.

The big question I’ve had until this point was “can the DNC keep up the ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ act until November 2022?” As of this weekend, I think that is now off the table. The stress and demands placed on a POTUS in these situations will exhaust even healthy men, and it will crush Biden, given his obvious deficits.

  4. Whelp, as of this afternoon (16 August 2021, 1800 MDT) the above-referenced presser of 08 July 2021 is no longer the “most infamous and devastating press conference ever held by an American president.”

Nope, that title is reserved for the press conference Biden gave today.

Looking at the reaction in the mainstream media, I think today is the day that the media finally copped a clue that Biden isn’t the genius they all have been claiming he is.
