Over the weekend I decided to do some fun plinking with the AMT Long Slide Hardballer I got late last fall. I wanted to see if the extra barrel and velocity equalled a little more “long range” performance. I used some pretty warm 185 grain handloads and shot at this falling plate from 100 yards.
I think the longer sight radius did more to help make the 100 yard hits easier than any supposed velocity gains. Thing is a real pleasure to shoot with.
