News Story

“Certain cultures among the US population place enormous importance in their personal pride, and are prone to deadly violence if they feel they have been “disrespected”.
The situation shown in the above video is a perfect example. The husband comes home and finds that his wife has called the cops. Not only that, but the cops are in his
house, which is an incredible insult to him. So he reacts in the only way he knows how.

I am reminded of a situation that occurred in Washington, DC about 2 years ago. A 16 year-old kid was walking home from school with his 15 year-old girlfriend and one of
his buddies. The kid had a pistol of some sort, and was waving it around, pointing it at passing cars, and pretending to shoot. His girlfriend told him to put the gun away, as
she was concerned that he might be seen with it and reported to the police. The kid told her to shut up “…or I’ll cap your ass”.
The girl told him that he was playing the fool, and wasn’t going to shoot her or anyone else, and to put the damn gun away.
So here is this kid, who knows that if he does what his girlfriend says, his buddy is going to tell everyone in school that he is a pussy, because he let his girlfriend tell him
what to do.
So he shoots her in the head and kills her. He later told the cops “Bitch disrespected me.”

  1. There really isn’t anything to say, other than that I would love for the assholes that always criticize cops for their attitudes and actions to have to do this kind of thing on a daily basis, and then try to treat everyone else as though they weren’t active dangers to their persons.

Even the black cops in Chicago that I knew came across as huge racists, because they knew that if they were going to die on the job, it was 99 out of a hundred that it would be another black guy that killed them. This is a truth that a lot of the civil population just doesn’t get.

Personally, I think we probably ask way too much of cops, and it would be a really good idea if manning the police forces were done the way we do jury duty–If you’re a registered voter, you do your mandatory training and then get called up for police duty so that you’re liable for the same risks as everyone else. Of course, that would necessitate a cultural ethos such that so much as back-talking someone acting in the name of the law would earn you a bullet in the back of the head. In my theory, the law and its personification should be sacrosanct, and if you dare to ignore it, there would be a huge price to be paid.

Of course, the reverse should also be true: Abuse your authority while under the color of law, and you’re going to hang, without mercy or remorse.

Every encounter between authority and citizen ought to be couched in terms of utmost politeness and due regard and respect. Absence of such, automatic on-the-scene capital punishment. You see someone walk into a bar where there’s a fight, wearing a badge? You don’t do anything but put down your improvised weapon and politely do as you are instructed. Likewise, you treat even suspected killers with due respect.

Biggest problem we have in law enforcement in today’s culture is that there’s no sense of decorum or respect on either side of the badge. You put people at risk of having to serve as a cop, enforcing the law? Then, they’re far more likely to be respectful of those who’re doing the duty–And, it is a civic duty. I would cavil at conscription for going to war, but I have no problem telling people that they need to take a turn herding the drunk and disorderly around, with professional backup lurking in the background. You get to be the guy going out to clean up after a drunk driver plows into a family, the whole issue surrounding drunk driving takes on a different light, and you begin to realize the realities of it all.

Not a completely worked-out idea, but that’s the general thrust I see as a potential solution to all this.

It’s an amazingly difficult job. FWIW, I think your proposal is eminently sensible.

  2. Since the public wants to either defund or abolish police, maybe they should follow through and send a SJW social worker to confront gun men. With the training they purport to have, their words should be able to stop bullets and violence. While the SJW’s are at it, maybe we can pull our troops out of the sandbox and send them in to use their words against AQ and Taliban.

Or you can skip to 1:38 to 1:49 of this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYju9ObPTTw for facing violence in the real world.

    • Had a dream the other night I was getting robbed by some multi ethnic kids so I couldn’t just shoot them because it would mean death by media. Then after dealing with them 3 on 1 for what feels like forever a social worker shows up from 911. So then I’m yelling at the social worker for being useless.
      Woke up all annoyed.
