Reports that Atlanta cops not taking calls and have walked out /BLM riot live feed

Cops are fighting back after a district attorney charged former officer Garrett Rolfe and officer Devin Brosnan over the shooting of Rayshard Brooks. The Democratic district attorney of Fulton County, Paul Howard, gave a bewildering press conference on Wednesday in which he announced a felony murder charge against Rolfe. If convicted, Rolfe faces a possible death sentence. At the press conference, the district attorney nitpicked the officers who were attacked while mischaracterizing the violent suspect as “not a threat” and “almost jovial” in his interaction with police.

Officers have reportedly stopped answering 911 calls, turned in their keys and failed to show up to their shifts.

Zones 3,4, and 6 had their officers walk out.

Update: 4 of 6 zones are gone and Large portion of CID (investigations) gone.

Atlanta PD is trending on Twitter So is”zone 6″

claims that surrounding agencies will only respond to “officer down” and “major tactical incident”

Things moving fast.

The Mayor said on Fox(?) that they pulled enough officers to cover the shift.

Digging up enough cops and this being a hoax isn’t the same thing.

She was trying to downplay it, surprisingly Cuomo pressed her directly and basically said if you have cops leaving or calling in you have a problem and she started her reply with “we do” and then moved on to redirecting the narrative.

CNN reporting the Atlanta PD is not answering calls.

Atlanta (CNN)Hours after a fired police officer was charged with felony murder for fatally shooting a man in the back, Atlanta police officers are not responding to calls in three zones, multiple sources within the Atlanta Police Department told CNN on Wednesday evening.

Police scanner traffic in area 5 and 6 is dead.

cbs46 was frying around covering protests, very very few police cars seen

“I think the person claiming leo are all there is lying their *ss off to provide cover”

“I’m monitoring 123.025, the air-to-air heli frequency used by media and police to announce their locations, from SE ATL and there is nothing happening right now. It’s very quiet.”

  1. This doesn’t surprise me. Who would want to be a cop today? Picking your nose would result in accusations of unlawful penetration of a nostril and rampant boogerism.

  2. I have very mixed feelings about this kind of thing. I wouldn’t want to report to work if I might get a felony murder beef for trying to arrest someone who didn’t want to be arrested. The idea that you can just fight with cops and run away when they try to arrest you is literally insane. Did he need to be shot? Probably not, but he created the dynamic situation, not the cops. All he had to do was to let them cuff him and go downtown for some paperwork. Sure, that’s a crappy night, but he passed out drunk in the drive-thru! Do we want that not to be a crime anymore?

    What a mess.

  3. The female mayor of Atlanta initiated the railroading of these cops to placate her constituents.

She now has to suffer the consequences of her actions.
