The aircraft revetments my dad’s Seabee battalion built are still there. They had been used as a propaganda base for a few years after the war but the larger airfield in nearby Da Nang is still an active Air Force base for them.
There’s an interesting note that the NVA/VC used so much captured equipment that in their memorial statue one of the soldiers is wearing a PRC25/77
