Colt Combat Target Model M1911

The Colt Combat Target came out int he mid-sh 1990s. This was a time when Colt was making and playing around with a lot of different special editions that would only be available for a short time. The Combat Elite is another example, though the Elite was much loved and was brought back recently. The Combat Target was only available for about one year and went away not to return again yet. The Gun is essentially a Combat version of the Gold Cup Match pistol.

It shoots like a Gold Cu too. A little better than some of the Gold Cups I shot from back then. Of course this one belonged to Brady before me and had did some polishing and work on it.

All targets below shot from 25 yards. Fired off bench with mags using match handloads.

A few rounds fired at 25 yards off hand using ball , match and defense loads. Decadent!
