Something To Think About

I have seen I don’t know how many movies and read books when soldiers, or police or whatever, have a lethal armed threat in front of them but won’t act because the threat is a “yute” The recent movie 13 Hours has a bit of dialog when one of the guys there said “I ain’t shooting no kids Boone.” How noble. I wonder if he really said that though. Because if an armed yute is in front of me and everything indicate he want’s to kill me, I sure will.

BURIEN, Wash — A 13-year-old boy suspected in a deadly Burien shooting last week told detectives he did it just because he “felt like doing it,” according to police documents.

The 35-year-old victim was shot in the head Tuesday night in the 400 block of South 152nd Street in Burien, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center and died of his injuries a few days later.

Detectives say the suspect saw the victim, Hassan Ali Hassan, walking along S. 152nd Street and followed him for about a block before pulling out a gun and firing one shot as Hassan was walking away from him, striking him in the back of the head.

The gunman ran off to a friend’s house and tried to get him to let him in, but then ran off again before they could open the door. The friend later identified the suspect to police.

A yute is just as likely to be willing to kill you as any grown man, or woman. Maybe more so. Don’t die and let family members die out of some misplaced ethic about not protecting yourself from yutes or protected class.

  1. HAving lived in Oakland for decades I can attest to the fact that some male youths are very dangerous indeed, from about age 10-12 on up.
Consequences are not real to them and many are outright sociopaths who will kill or rape with no empathy and no remorse.
It’s going to get real interesting in a lot of big cities over the next year or two, I am damn glad I live in rural Sonoma County.
