Last week the county I live in here in Kentucky became a 2nd Amendment sanctuary. While there is more chance of North Korea becoming a free country than there is of Ky passing any anti-gun laws, people are angry about the actions of bordering state’s government. Like most pro gun happenings, the news is loathe to cover it. Even in Ky the news media is still the news media.
The Pike County Fiscal Court took action at Tuesday’s meeting to declare the county will now be a Second Amendment Sanctuary. Hundreds of people packed into the fiscal courtroom to hear the reading of the resolution which states that the county will officially oppose any gun laws which may run contrary to the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Chris Anderson has the story.
